Our story began in a tiny carriage house in 1988 when Drs. Sam and Annemarie Yoder sought to practice veterinary medicine in Dr. Sam’s home town.
Our Mission Statement is plain and simple, “We treat each patient as if it was our own”. Our clients are our neighbors and friends and that gives us incentive to offer nothing but unparalleled service. We have come a long way. We’re now housed in a 5600 square foot renovated building with all the newest equipment and pharmaceuticals in beautiful rural Berks County.
We are now doctors, parents, horsemen, environmental activists, organic farmers, humanists, and most of all, happy with our progress in practicing for almost 20 years.

Now Offering....Laser Therapy at Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic
Virtually any disease process that involves inflammation can be helped with laser therapy. One of the most common applications of laser therapy in veterinary medicine is musculoskeletal disease and injury. The laser is effective in helping injured muscles heal more quickly, as well as improving the function of muscles that have been strained secondary to arthritis,
hip dysplasia, or other injury. Dogs recovering from orthopedic surgery benefit from laser treatment, as inflammation and pain are decreased while the circulation improves. Wounds and incisions heal more quickly when treated with the laser.
